CBD FOR HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE
The most important points in brief
- High blood pressure is one of the most dangerous widespread diseases of all - it promotes serious secondary diseases of the cardiovascular system, for example.
- More than a quarter of the population is likely to be affected.
- Anyone who finds that their blood pressure is too high must act urgently, often changing their lifestyle and taking medication, which can, however, have side effects.
- In some cases, however, a treatment with CBD is sufficient.
High blood pressure often has more than just one cause. There are often several factors that come together to make the blood pressure higher than normal - but then caution is advised. Anyone who has a lot of stress, consumes too much nicotine or alcohol, does not have a balanced diet or has hardly any exercise should change something quickly and get rid of these bad habits. In this regard, good news also comes from another corner: CBD could also help lower blood pressure.
CBD helps lower blood pressure in many cases
The latest studies and research suggest that CBD actually helps lower blood pressure in many cases. It doesn't always work - among other things, it depends on what caused the high blood pressure. Those who live very unhealthily and do not exercise cannot work miracles with CBD alone. However, the results of the studies indicate that the body's own cannabinoid receptors are sensitive to the positive effects of cannabidiol.
This is primarily a relaxing and anti-inflammatory effect. So if your high blood pressure is caused by stress, the chances are good that CBD has a positive influence on this value. Cannabidiol can also ensure that your blood vessels expand, which not only relieves the blood pressure, but also the heart. Last but not least, this reduces the risk of calcifying the vessels. Another discovery recently made the rounds: Legal, i.e. non-THC-containing cannabidiol lowers the body temperature in many cases, up to half a degree Celsius. This is especially helpful if you have a lot of stress at work.
Which CBD product is best for high blood pressure?
All of these modes of action - viewed collectively - give a very positive picture of the possible effectiveness of CBD in terms of lowering blood pressure. Of course, the question must be asked, which CBD products should be given for the best results? Oral intake is definitely recommended, with CBD oil being the most common form.
How much CBD should the oil have? You shouldn't decide that on your own - we recommend consulting a doctor beforehand, who should advise you on this. At the same time, you should ask the doctor to do a full check-up if you suffer from high blood pressure; as a rule, however, doctors do that anyway. Back to the form of intake: If you cannot make friends with the somewhat earthy tasting CBD oil, then of course you can also take CBD capsules.
What's next?
Take the dose recommended by the doctor for about 20 days - then the first results can appear. Consult your doctor regularly during this period and have your blood pressure measured - perhaps the first (often very small) successes can be measured after a few days. If you are also taking other medication to lower blood pressure, the doctor will probably have to adjust their dosage as well.
